The activation needed a mobile branding element that could cut through the noise of Broadway billboards, LED screens, and thousands of competing brand impressions, all while transporting VIP guests between event locations.
The challenge was to create a partial coach bus wrap that delivered the visual punch of a full experiential activation on wheels. The design had to be instantly recognizable as Space Jam, tapping into three decades of nostalgia and cultural relevance while feeling premium enough to represent one of the most iconic brands in the history of sportswear. The bus would serve a dual role: luxury guest transportation and a moving promotional display navigating the streets of Manhattan during the event window.
Timing was everything. The wrap had to be designed, printed, and installed on a tight event-driven timeline, coordinated around locked transportation schedules and a narrow activation window in one of the busiest corridors in the world. There was no room for production delays or installation errors. This was a one-shot execution in front of one of the most demanding audiences in brand marketing.

Creative Layout:
The partial wrap was designed to maximize visual impact while maintaining the sleek, premium profile of the luxury coach. Vibrant Space Jam anniversary graphics were integrated across key exterior panels, blending the campaign’s iconic imagery instantly familiar to three decades of fans with bold, high-contrast elements engineered to pop against the visual chaos of Midtown Manhattan. The layout balanced nostalgia with a modern, event-ready aesthetic, ensuring the bus read as a curated brand activation rather than a standard advertisement. Every angle was considered: the wrap had to command attention from Times Square pedestrians at close range, passing taxi traffic at street level, and elevated sightlines from surrounding buildings and media vantage points.
Print Production:
Large-format, high-resolution printing on premium vinyl delivered vivid color saturation and razor-sharp graphic reproduction across the entire wrapped surface. Color accuracy was held to the standard a global brand like Air Jordan demands, ensuring the printed graphics matched the campaign’s digital and retail materials exactly. The vinyl was selected for NYC event conditions, rated to maintain adhesion and visual quality through cold-weather exposure, urban grime, and the stop-and-go stress of Midtown traffic during the activation window.
Installation:
Our installation team executed a precision partial wrap with seamless alignment across the coach’s exterior panels, ensuring clean transitions between wrapped and unwrapped surfaces, a detail that separates a premium activation from a standard bus ad.
