The Challenge
Higher Heights, a national organization dedicated to the political empowerment of Black women, was launching the Black Women Lead Get Out The Vote Bus Tour ahead of a critical election cycle. The tour needed a branded bus that would serve as both the campaign’s transportation and its most visible piece of outreach as it traveled between community stops across four states.
The bus wrap had to communicate empowerment, civic engagement, and urgency without being partisan or exclusionary. The design needed to energize communities, draw people toward voter registration events, and make the bus recognizable from blocks away as it arrived at churches, community centers, college campuses, and public gathering spaces across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
The multi-state routing schedule meant the bus would be on the road for an extended period, stopping at dozens of communities with different demographics and settings. The wrap needed to hold up through daily highway travel and outdoor event use while maintaining the bold, uplifting visual energy the campaign required at every stop.
Our Approach
Bus Wrap Inc. partnered with Higher Heights to deliver a wrapped coach bus that carried the Black Women Lead message across four states, serving as both the tour’s transportation and its most powerful piece of visual outreach.
Creative Layout:
We designed a full exterior coach bus wrap that communicated the energy, empowerment, and civic purpose of the Black Women Lead initiative. The design featured bold messaging, vibrant colors, and powerful imagery that spoke directly to the communities the tour was built to reach. The layout was designed for instant recognition and emotional impact from both highway distances and close-up at community event stops.
Print Production:
Large-format printing on premium vinyl delivered vivid, saturated colors and sharp typographic detail that made the Black Women Lead messaging impossible to miss at every scale. The print quality was built to maintain its bold appearance through an extended multi-state touring schedule across varying weather conditions.
Installation:
Full coach bus wrap with precision alignment completed ahead of the tour’s departure date. The bus was delivered wrapped, road-tested, and tour-ready for an extended multi-state routing schedule covering New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland with dozens of planned community stops.
The Results
Four-state voter outreach – the wrapped bus traveled across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, generating awareness and driving foot traffic to voter registration events at every scheduled community stop.
Community mobilization at every stop – the bus served as a branded anchor at churches, campuses, and community centers, drawing attendees toward Get Out The Vote programming and creating a rallying point for grassroots engagement.
Empowering visual identity – the bold, uplifting design communicated the Black Women Lead mission with energy and authenticity that resonated with diverse communities across all four states.
Tour-durable across multiple states – the wrap maintained its bold visual quality and adhesion through an extended routing schedule covering hundreds of miles of highway travel and dozens of outdoor community events.
