A fully wrapped coach bus carrying the AFL-CIO’s pro-union message directly to workers and communities across multiple states.
The AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in the United States representing over 12.5 million workers, was launching a nationwide bus tour to promote worker solidarity and the benefits of union membership. The campaign needed a wrapped bus that could carry the “It’s Better in a Union” message through cities and communities where workers are organizing, debating, and deciding whether to join a union.
The design had to communicate strength, solidarity, and optimism. The AFL-CIO’s message is about economic dignity and collective power, and the wrap needed to convey that with visual authority. At the same time, the bus had to feel approachable enough to welcome workers at community events, factory gates, and union halls where it would park during stops along the tour.
The multi-state routing covered a wide geographic footprint with dozens of scheduled stops. The wrap materials needed to withstand extended highway travel, outdoor parking at event locations, and varying weather conditions from coast to coast without losing visual quality or messaging clarity.
Bus Wrap Inc. partnered with the AFL-CIO to deliver a wrapped coach bus that served as the visual centerpiece of their national advocacy tour, carrying the union message directly to workers across the country.
Creative Layout:
We developed a full exterior coach bus wrap that communicated the AFL-CIO’s “It’s Better in a Union” message with strength and clarity. The design used the federation’s brand colors, bold typographic treatments, and imagery that spoke to working-class solidarity and economic empowerment. The layout was built for instant readability at both highway speed and close range at community event stops.
Print Production:
Large-format printing on premium vinyl delivered bold, saturated colors and sharp messaging typography that maintained its visual punch across the full scale of a coach bus. The print quality was specified for extended outdoor durability through a multi-state touring schedule.
Installation:
Full coach bus wrap with precision alignment completed ahead of the tour’s launch date. The bus was delivered wrapped, charter-ready, and in position for the first scheduled stop, with the wrap built to maintain performance through dozens of community stops across the tour’s multi-state routing.
